Highly recommend the flat iron because of the nice apartments and awesome apartment staff! I have lived in the domain over 5 years at almost every apartment , and the flat iron is by far the best. Jenny helped us with our apartment move in and made the process so easy. Janay and Jenny are a great team I look forward to getting coffee at Medici every morning and them greeting me. Everyone is so friendly and they make it like a family atmosphere. The apartments are always clean and the interior is so nice. The office management means a lot to us because living in other places in the domain where they neglect everything or act like they don't care Jenny and Janay do the complete opposite and make sure we are always taken care of. If you are looking to move to the domain choose the flat iron.

Update: Finally applied to the apartment and Michaela has been incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. Changing my rating from 1 to 5 stars!

I have been interested in the Flatiron apartments since the beginning of September, as I am planning to move in during October. There are a couple of floor plans I am very interested in applying for. I understand that the apartment cannot hold a unit for more than two weeks, which is reasonable, and I can accommodate the move-in time.
However, I have exchanged multiple emails and phone calls with your office, and I’ve noticed a pattern that is causing frustration. Each time I inquire about specific apartment details (including apartment numbers), I receive no response regarding availability, and the price on the website continues to increase daily—especially for the units I’ve asked about.
I really want to move in and would appreciate better communication from your team to avoid price increases without proper answers to my inquiries. I understand that prices fluctuate based on demand and market conditions, but I would prefer to receive timely responses so I can apply before further price changes occur, rather than being left without information and seeing prices rise.

By far the worst community I lived in so far. Beware this community. They will price gouge you and is racist. I gave $700 deposit when I moved in to a studio and when moving out, I was only refunded less than half of that amount. When asked why, the manager Michaela Bateman started coming up with things that is normal wear and tear. when asked for photo proof, the manager starting adding item on there such as window cleaning on the outside, router, floor (which had small dot) that is normal wear and tear due to weather, which neither of us can control.

The worst was the ozone treat, something that blows my mind because I have lived in so many places and never heard of such a thing. Basically the office charges the tenant for stuff that they are supposed to do either way when a tenant moves out. This is the first. RACIST INSULT.

Someone who has been extremely helpful, graceous, and attentive is Jenny, one of the leasing professionals! I wanted to personally attest to her being a highly cherished member for residents at Flatiron, especially in my experience. She demonstrates urgency regarding residential matters and has been unflagging in her willingness to help in times of strain and distress. She is very evidently personable, easy to talk to, and I have benefited greatly as a resident in being able to lean on Jenny for leasing matters. Thank you!

This is my third year living at the Flatiron in the Domain and I’ve absolutely loved my experience—I recently transferred into a bigger unit and the Flatiron team made the process incredibly seamless. You can tell there is a genuine care for the residents and the community atmosphere is fantastic. Not the mention the location and interior finishes of the apartments. Jenny was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout my renewal process—it’s an important decision to make and moving is inevitably a challenge but this team does everything in their power to support you. I’m so happy to be a Flatiron resident!

Final update: Fast forward to almost a year of living here, I’ve increased my rating from a 1 star, strictly for the new property manager, she is amazing and has quickly turned things around from my experience. Maintenance staff is good too. Since the property uses Fetch delivery services, I no longer have packages delivered directly to avoid theft. Overall, it’s been nice living at Flatiron (missing star due to the initial move-in experience and how it was handled by the old staff).

Update: Not even a month since I moved in and my first Amazon package got stolen.

Moved to Flatiron for the second time and this time I instantly regret it. Day two, I wish I could move out. Seems the service and upkeep declined tremendously over the years. Moved in yesterday to a filthy apartment unit. Kitchen, bathroom, and floors are extremely dirty, water smells horrible (I was warned about this by front desk but it’s an issue even the next day, can’t wash my face). Dust, residue, hair, sticky substances to describe the condition I received the apartment - simply put I am completely grossed out. Was planning to go back to work today but will be taking the day off to deal with this situation. I am well aware this unit was available for a while, plenty of time to have it cleaned and touched-up before I moved in. Frustrating to clean-up after other people when it’s not my responsibility, especially after having a long, hard day of moving, coming from another city on a rainy day.

Also, no lighting in the living space. There is literally no light fixture in the living area, which makes no sense for the cost of rent. I don’t own any light fixtures because my last place had plenty of lighting - recessive lights installed in every corner. Moved in on a rainy day and found myself in a dirty dark living room with sticky and dusty floors, contemplating my decision to move here.

Don’t move here unless you never want to receive your packages. They don’t allow ups/fedex/amazon packages to be delivered to your doorstep in the name of “security”, and they also don’t accept packages at the front desk so packages are always being returned to sender. Additionally, they find any reason to fine you when you move out for “amenity and fetch fees” (whatever those are) and are the least helpful front office.
