Our house is almost 50 years old and we have upgraded and remodeled almost every area in the house - except our front doors and they were beginning to sag, showing their age.
We found solid wood doors that we liked at a lumber supply company and were surprised that neither they or the manufacturer installed or stained the doors so it became a 3 part operation. We were very happy with the attention and service we got from the lumber company and they provided a list of installers that they had good reports on, indicating that Can Do Remodeling seemed to be one of the best. I contacted them and they responded within a day to take the measurements and get them to the lumber company. In working with Can Do they recommended a couple of painters that did good work staining doors and we selected one of them. Once the doors arrived they coordinated everything - picking the doors up, doing the demo and installation in less than a full day and arranged for the painter to be there the day after installation. I dealt with Nick and he showed up at the beginning of the day to make sure the job got off to a good start, and returned at the end of the day to make sure we were happy with the result. His two installers did a great job - they were courteous and polite and cleaned up when they were done. We are extremely happy with how the whole process was completed. Nick along with anyone I spoke with at Can Do was extremely professional as well as being friendly and reminded that if we were unhappy with any aspect of the work, no matter how small they would come out promptly and do their very best to remedy whatever the problem was.

Awesome team— from the owner, Jason, to his son-in-law, Nick, to their crew— especially Victor who’s work ethic, skill, and attention-to-detail were really impressive. These guys have a great attitude and are honest in their pricing. I was actually blown away by how reasonable the final cost was— especially because the historic nature of our house introduced several complications, requiring far more work to complete the installation than was originally quoted. Not only did Can-Do honor their initial quote, but Victor’s knowledge of houses built during that time period meant he was able to identify and resolve the unique challenges of our home like it was nothing at all. They all did amazing work, our door looks like it came with the original house, only prettier, and we’re looking forward to working with Can-Do again soon for our window replacements!

They provided us with a comprehensive professional bid, and worked with us to get the job done around our busy holiday schedule. They followed up with us and made sure we were happy with the work. Incidentally found out our back door to the yard had significant weather damage and was looking for reliable company to replace it. Got quotes from some of reputable local companies and all of them were great but decided to go with Nick and Jason from Can-Do windows for their reasonable quote and fast timeline that met all my needs. On the day of installation, Victor and Alberto were great. Came on time, worked efficiently and were happy to answer any of my questions. At the end of the day I was happy with the installed door. I am confident the door will last but feels assured that the company will follow-up with me if there's any issue too. Thank you everyone!
