I saw Dr dunker for a possible broken wrist. He was not rushed, he listened very carefully to me, he explained everything about the x-rays and what he saw and he asked me several times if I had any more questions. I would highly recommend him. I will be seeing him again in 2 weeks for my wrist at which time I'm sure my experience will be the same.

Dr Dunker did an amazing job on my knee. I was very nervous at the time of the surgery as I imagine most people would be he was very understanding, knowledgeable, and compassionate during the time I was under his care. I would recommend him to anyone needing a knee surgeon. He's also very quick to get back to you after you call his office with a question.

My son, 22 year old athlete, came through an ACL reconstruction with loss of flexion and overall stiffness, affecting his ability to return to the same level of competition from presurgery. Concerns about complications began same day post surgery, when it was evident to us that the nerve block hadn't worked right. It took several calls over the next 24 hours and insistence from us to get him looked at because of the severe pain. An ER trip found a blood clot. With that complication, all we heard was that things were fine, all things considered. It felt like our perspective and concerns about the pain, struggle and delay were minimized by the team. It would take another ER trip, this time to Bellin, to finally break the pain cycle. From there, he slowly moved forward with basic rehab and continued reassurance that all would be fine. Roughly 15 months later, limited flexion and stiffness negativity impact play and speed and general comfort. When I compare his experience, rehab and outcome to that of a couple of athletes we know that went through Bellin, I regret our choice. We should have went with the 'gold standard' approach elsewhere.

My husband has had many shoulder, elbow and overal arm issues in the last 5 years. When he blew out his rotator Dr Dunker did an amazing job. He was very personable and knows what he is doing. A few years later my husband needed a full bicep surgery and of course we turned to Dunker! He has been nothing but outstanding and we trust his advice and work!
